Through woods and alpine huts
The best e-bike and mountain bike tours in the Passeier Valley
Discover a variety of cycling
tours through forests, alpine huts and stunning mountain landscapes around the Jägerhof.

through the Wanser Valley
This beginner-friendly tour is ideal for getting to know the area around Walten. The route leads through the quiet Wanser Valley to the Wanser Alm and offers a pleasant combination of nature, forest trails, and a place to stop for refreshments.
From there, you can continue on to the Moseralm (not managed) and end the tour in a particularly peaceful, unspoiled mountain landscape.

Bike & hike into alpine idyll
We recommend this tour as a combination of biking and hiking. The route first leads to the picturesque little church of St. Anna in Pfistrad, where you can stop for an initial break and refreshment.
Afterwards, the hiking section begins through shaded coniferous forest, steadily ascending to one of the oldest alpine huts in the Passeier Valley. The tour is more demanding, but particularly rewarding in terms of scenery. A good level of fitness is recommended.

Alpine hut enjoyment
This tour leads into the quiet Fartleis Valley to the idyllic Prantacher Alm. At the alpine hut, you can enjoy regional, home-made dishes in a cozy atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break.
By the way: host Irmgard grew up here and has known the hut and its surroundings since childhood.

Enjoy a Mediterranean atmosphere
This tour leads from the Jägerhof comfortably through the Passeier Valley all the way to the spa town of Merano. The route follows the Passer River through a varied river and natural landscape and is ideal for relaxed e-bike rides or enjoyable cycling tours without major climbs.
Once in Merano, you can expect a Mediterranean atmosphere, cafés, and the beautiful old town—perfect for a relaxing stop before heading back into the Passeier Valley.

Across the pass into adventure
This tour leads from the Jägerhof over the Jaufen Pass into the hiking and biking area of Racines. The ascent is sporty, but it is rewarded with impressive views and a varied mountain landscape.
Once at the top, a vast area opens up with alpine pastures, hiking trails, and peaceful natural spots. Ideal for an active tour with many opportunities to combine biking and hiking.
